The path of the 3 hermits

Hiking is a recreational and sporting activity that consists of walking along natural trails and routes, generally in mountainous areas, forests, national parks or rural areas. It is a way to connect with nature, enjoy the outdoors and experience the beauty of the natural environment. From the train station of El Escorial we will cross the Roman Bridge to walk a pleasant path where we will find several sections in very good condition of the Roman road of the Three Hermits, which leads us to the emblematic and popular throne of the king in the Chair of Philip II. From here we will enjoy unbeatable views of the monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial. Along the route, which will be by track, road and trail, we will be accompanied by rockroses, oaks, oaks and chestnut trees.

Feel like a king contemplating the magnificent views of the Sierra de Guadarrama and El Escorial from La Casa del Sordo and the Silla de Felipe II and bathe in nature in the Bosque de la Herrería. Our route ends at the monastery of El Escorial and the gardens of the prince, where we can optionally take a guided tour.
